不要只说 I was happy. I was over the moon!

  • Oh, that's a good one!

That's an interesting question.

  • You know, I've never really thought about it, but...

Let me see...

  • Well, to be honest... / Honestly...

I think...

  • It's kind of like...

  • Say, for instance...

  • The thing is...

  • Then again, I suppose...

However, ...

  • But then, on the other hand...

    - 比单用 on the other hand 更流畅。

  • Having said that...

Do you prefer reading books or watching movies?

I prefer watching movies. Firstly, it's more visual. Secondly, it takes less time.

Oh, that's a tough one! I'm a big reader, but then I'd have to say I lean more towards movies these days. It's just that after a long day, it's easier to just sit back and watch a story come to life. Having said that, nothing really beats the imagination you get from a good book.

分析:

地道回答使用了 买时间(that's a tough one)、委婉转折(but then)、解释原因(It's just that)和辩证补充(Having said that),整个对话流非常真实,像是在和朋友聊天。

  • So, the story I'd like to share is about...

  • This takes me back to...

  • I remember it as if it were yesterday...

  • So, anyway, as I was saying...

  • What really struck me was...

I was impressed by...

  • I was absolutely blown away by...

  • The best part was... / The funny thing was...

  • It wasn't so much about... as it was about...

  • So, all in all, it was...

  • Looking back, I realise that...

  • That experience really taught me...

Describe a time you helped someone.

I helped my classmate with math. Firstly, he was struggling. Secondly, I spent two hours with him. Finally, he passed the exam.

So, the story I'd like to share is about when I tutored my friend in calculus. Right around that time, we were preparing for our final exams, and he was completely lost. What really struck me was how quickly he picked things up once we changed the way we looked at the problems. So, what happened next was we met up almost every day for a week. The best part was seeing the 'light bulb' moment when everything finally clicked for him. Looking back, I realise that I probably learned just as much as he did about patience and communication.

  • That's a valid point, but I guess I see it a bit differently.

I disagree.

  • I'm not entirely convinced that...

  • I see where you're coming from, but...

  • There are a couple of ways to look at this.

  • From a broader perspective...

  • On a more personal level, though...

  • It's a double-edged sword.

  • A large part of this boils down to...

The main reason is...

  • This ties into the larger issue of...

  • The ripple effects of this are...

  • That would largely depend on...

  • It's hard to say for sure, but I imagine that...

  • I suspect we'd see...

Do you think technology always improves our lives?

No. For example, people use phones too much. Also, there is cyberbullying.

That's a great question. I think it's a bit of a double-edged sword. There's no denying that technology has brought incredible convenience. But from a broader perspective, I'm not entirely convinced it's always for the better. A large part of the problem boils down to how we use it. For instance, while social media connects us, the ripple effects include issues like information overload and anxiety. So, I guess it largely depends on our ability to use it mindfully.

There's no denying that 承认优点,再用 But from a broader perspective 巧妙转折,最后用 boils down to 和 ripple effects 深入分析核心与影响,并以 it largely depends on 作为严谨的结尾。
